6.25전쟁기록 서비스를 위한 아카이브 플랫폼 기능 연구

- 6.25전쟁은 우리나라는 물론 냉전체제 강화 등 국제정세에 큰 영향을 끼친 역사적 사 건이므로 6.25전쟁과 관련하여 정부 기관, 학계, 국제기구 등에 의해 수많은 연구들이 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 6.25전쟁기록에 관한 연구는 부진한 상태이며 이용자가 원하는 6.25전쟁기록을 찾거나 활용하기 어려운 상태이다.
6.25전쟁기록은 한국뿐만 아니라 6.25전쟁 참전국, 의료지원국가 등 전쟁과 관련된 여 러 국가에 분산되어 있으며 기록이 어디에 산재되어 있는지 알 수 없기 때문이다. 이러 한 6.25전쟁기록의 관리 및 활용 측면의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 누구나 6.25전쟁기록에 쉽게 접근하고 활용할 수 있도록 하는 6.25전쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼 구축 시 필요한 아카이브 플랫폼 기능을 제안하고자 한다.
이를 위해 첫째, 문헌연구를 통해 6.25전쟁기록에 대한 개념을 정의하였고 6.25전쟁기 록의 범위와 유형을 분류하였다. 또한 아카이브 플랫폼과 그 기능을 분석하여 6.25전쟁 기록 아카이브 플랫폼 구축의 필요성을 제시하였다. 둘째, 현재 국내·외 6.25전쟁기록을 서비스하고 있는 기관을 대상으로 6.25전쟁기록 서비스 현황을 파악하여 시사점을 도출 하였다. 셋째, 아카이브 플랫폼 사례를 대상으로 검색 및 열람 서비스, 참여 및 협력 서 비스, 이용자 지원 서비스, 콘텐츠 서비스별로 아카이브 플랫폼 기능을 분석하였으며 이 를 토대로 6.25전쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼 예비 기능을 제안하였다. 넷째, 제안한 6.25전 쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼 예비 기능을 대상으로 6.25전쟁기록 서비스 담당자 및 전문가를 대상으로 심층면담을 통해 아카이브 플랫폼 기능별 개선 사항 및 고려 사항을 파악하여 이를 반영한 최종적인 6.25전쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼 기능을 제안하고자 하였다.
본 연구는 6.25전쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼 구축의 필요성을 도출하고 실제로 6.25전쟁 기록 서비스 담당자의 의견을 반영한 6.25전쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼 기능을 최종적으로 제안하였으므로 6.25전쟁기록 서비스에 대한 기초 연구로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 하지 만 실제로 아카이브 플랫폼 기능을 실현하기 위해 필요한 기술적인 측면을 구체적으로 다루지 못했으며 6.25전쟁기록 아카이브 플랫폼에 대한 연구이므로 내부 관리자를 위한 플랫폼 기술 및 기능은 연구에 포함하지 못하였다는 한계가 있다.

- The Korean War is a historical event that significantly impacted not only Korea but also the strengthening of the Cold War system and the international order. As a result, numerous studies on the Korean War have been actively conducted by government agencies, academia, and international organizations.
However, research on Korean War records has been relatively stagnant, making it challenging for users to find or utilize the records they need. This is because Korean War records are dispersed across multiple countries involved in the war, such as participant nations and countries providing medical support, and there is no comprehensive knowledge of where these records are scattered. To address the issues related to the management and utilization of Korean War records, this study aims to propose the necessary features for building an archival platform that enables easy access to and utilization of these records by anyone.
To achieve this, first, a literature review was conducted to define the concept of Korean War records, classify their scope and types, and analyze the functions of archival platforms. This analysis highlighted the necessity of building a Korean War records archival platform. Second, the current state of Korean War records services provided by domestic and international institutions was examined to derive insights. Third, archivai platform cases were analyzed by categorizing their features into search and browsing services, participation and collaboration services, user support services, and content services. Based on this analysis, preliminary functions for the Korean War records archival platform were proposed. Fourth, in-depth interviews were conducted with Korean War records service managers and experts to identify improvements and considerations for each proposed platform function. These findings were then incorporated into the final proposed functions of the Korean War records archival platform.
This study draws attention to the necessity of building a Korean War records archival platform and proposes final functions that reflect the opinions of Korean War records service managers. As such, it can serve as a foundational study for Korean War records services. However, the study has limitations in that it does not delve into the technical aspects required to implement the proposed platform functions and does not include research on platform technologies or features for internal administrators.
